Former India cricketer and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's picture dressed as a police officer has been doing the rounds on social media, and fans are finding very difficult to keep calm. No surprises for that as MS Dhoni happens to be one of the most popular and loved cricketers around the world, be it as a cricketer, a captain, or as a human being.
For the unversed, Dhoni will be seen in action once again that too, in his very familiar and popular role as the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings franchise for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, scheduled to be played from April 2023.

To put all speculations to rest, the picture of MS Dhoni dressed as a police officer that has gone insanely viral is not from any movie, but from a television commercial for which the 41-year-old is still shooting. Fans took no time to take to the Twitter to react to the photo the moment it was posted.
Fans went on to post comments, stating how dapper Dhoni looked in the police avatar and that how director Rohit Shetty's "police franchise" is now in danger. One fan summed up everybody's reaction in one sentence, stating that the the former wicketkepper-batter looks perfect in any male-leading role.
Dhoni is often referred to as 'Thala', meaning leader in Tamil, by the CSK fans.
Another set of pictures of Dhoni having already begun his preparations for the upcoming IPL also began to be shared on social media. Videos of him practising in the nets at the Jharkhand Cricket Association Stadium (JSCA) in Ranchi have gone viral.
