'Miyan Magic in Cape Town' - Fans erupt as Mohammed Siraj's 6-fer bundles out SA for 55 on Day 1
Mohammed Siraj registered his best figures in Tests of 6/15 to bundle out South Africa for 55.
India got off to a sensational start on Day 1 of the second Test against South Africa as they got the hosts all out for 55 after captain Dean Elgar decided to bat first at Newlands, Cape Town. Mohammed Siraj was seen at his imperious best as he registered his best bowling figures in Tests of 6/15 in nine overs.
The day began with the South African openers Aiden Markram and Dean Elgar getting off to a cautious start scoring five runs off the first three overs. Siraj struck the first blow as he got Markram caught at third slip by Yashasvi Jaiswal. He further got the big scalp of last game’s centurion Elgar as the southpaw got an inside edge back onto his stumps.
