SL vs IND 2024: Top 10 Funniest Memes from 2nd ODI

In the second ODI match at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka won the toss and chose to bat against India. The partnership, in the beginning, started to rebuild after the dismissal of Pathum Nissanka, but Kusal Mendis was sent back for 40. After that, the hosts gave way under pressure from the spinners in the middle overs, and by the 35th over, Sri Lanka was struggling at 136/6. 

Sri Lanka beat India by 32 runs in the second ODI. With the help of Kamindu Mendis (40 off 44), Avishka Fernando (40 off 62) and Dunith Wellalage (39 off 35), Sri Lanka were able to put up a score of 240/9 in the allotted 50 overs on board. 

The Men in Blue had a decent start with their skipper Rohit Sharma smashing 64 off 44 balls, and Shubman Gill 35 runs off 44 balls. Virat Kohli, Shivam Dube, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul could not support India in their game while batting against the Lankans during the second ODI. Sri Lanka's Jeffrey Vandersay was the star of the match as he stopped the Men in Blue from chasing the target as he took six major wickets for the Sri Lankan team. 

Vandersay dominated the game against India from the moment he entered in the 12th over. It was his best ODI performance as he took 6 wickets with 33 runs in his 10 overs. As for the Indian team Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav were the stars for the Men in Blue. Both took three and two wickets respectively.
