Furthermore, Brandon McMullen played an unbeaten knock of 61 runs in 31 deliveries, alongside Richie Berrington, who scored 13 runs on the board.

India's greatest escape shouldn't deviate you from the fact that Scotland might just have done enough to hand over a group stage exit to the defending champions!!

For those focussed on New York, Scotland have just chased 151 against Oman in 13.1 overs. They have five points, the maximum England can reach, and have given their net run rate a big boost too. It's now probable that neither of the 2022 finalists makes it through the group stage

They’re going to need MASSIVE wins against Namibia and Oman to overhaul Scotland.
And they’ll need a favour from Australia, too…
Scotland just need to make sure they don't lose to Australia by huge margin and hope England win their next 2 with not so huge margin.

While people were busy watching India vs. Pakistan, Scotland have chased down a target of 150 runs in just 13.1 overs against Oman to gain 2 crucial points + a massive NRR boost.

England are in massive trouble of getting knocked out on NRR (realistically).
Elsewhere, Scotland have taken an insane NRR boost by chasing 151 vs Oman in just 13.1 overs!
