Undoubtedly, one of the most talented cricketers in world cricket, Rishabh Pant, celebrates his 26th birthday. The star Indian wicketkeeper had well-established himself as one of the best wicketkeepers in the world, and he has proved his talent by showing up for the international team and performing to the peak of his abilities in franchise cricket as well.
Pant turned 26 years old on Wednesday, October 4, and was captured celebrating his birthday at the NCA in Bangalore, alongside some of his teammates from the Indian team. Pant celebrated his birthday alongside his teammates from his IPL (Indian Premier League) side, Delhi Capitals.
Axar Patel and Prithvi Shaw were captured celebrating Pant’s birthday with him at the NCA. In a clip that has been doing the rounds all over social media, Pant and Axar Patel were seen putting cake on the 26-year-old’s face as everyone enjoyed the festivities.
Rishabh Pant is currently at the NCA, as he is recovering from the life-threatening injuries that he sustained in December 2022 after he was involved in a car accident. Ever since his accident, Pant has been out of contention for selection ever since and is hard at work preparing for his much-awaited comeback to the Indian team.
The 26-year-old missed many major tournaments like the IPL 2023, the Asia Cup 2023, and the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 as well. There is no doubt that Pant’s absence could prove to be a major hindrance for the Indian team, as his repertoire with the bat in the middle order is unmatched. Team India will be without Pant in the World Cup, and the side is all set to kick off their campaign by taking on Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8.
Furthermore, the star wicketkeeper was also captured in Uttarakhand as he visited the holy shrine of Badrinath to seek blessings before his birthday. As he turned 26, many current and former stars took to social media to wish Pant a happy birthday.
