Twitter Reactions: Sajid Khan's four-fer gives Pakistan upper hand at end of Day 2

Pakistan and England continued their ongoing Test series; both sides locked horns on Day 2 of the second Test. Day 1 saw Pakistan put in an excellent performance courtesy Kamran Ghulam, who scored a century on debut, playing in place of Babar Azam. 

At the end of the first day, Pakistan were batting on a score of 259 runs with the loss of five wickets. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha were at the crease. As Day 2 began, Rizwan ended up scoring 41 runs in 97 deliveries, with Agha adding 31 runs on the board in total.

Furthermore, Aamer Jamal scored 37 runs as Pakistan posted a total of 366 runs on the board in the first innings of the game. As for England, Jack Leach was the highest wicket-taker for his side in the first innings with four wickets to his name. Brydon Carse took three wickets, with Matthew Potts striking twice and Shoaib Bashir taking one wicket.

Coming out to bat, England opened their innings with Zak Crawley scoring 27 runs and Ben Duckett scoring a century. Duckett amassed 114 runs in 129 deliveries. Ollie Pope scored 29 runs in 37 deliveries, alongside Joe Root, who added 34 runs on the board. 

After Ben Duckett’s knock, Pakistan’s bowling put forth an incredible performance in order to limit the visitors in the first innings. Harry Brook and Ben Stokes added nine and one run on the board, respectively with Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse staying unbeaten on scores of 12 and two, respectively. 

By the end of Day 2, England had posted a total of 239 runs with the loss of six wickets, trailing by 127 runs. As for Pakistan, Sajid Khan was the highest wicket-taker with four wickets to his name and Noman Ali taking two wickets.
