Twitter Reactions: England beat Pakistan in a Super Over thriller: The last T20I match of the Pakistan v England series though was supposed to be a dead rubber proved to be the most thrilling and the most entertaining match of the 3-match series since England won the first two matches without serious discomfort. Morgan once again won the toss and elected to bat first, but Pakistan bowlers bowled superbly well to blow off their top order. A good 60-run partnership between James Vince and Chris Waokes took England to 154/8 in their 20 overs.
The total was a moderate one but, the match was open since Pakistan is an unpredictable chaser. English bowlers returned favors leaving the hosts reeling at 11/3 in 2.2 overs. But that is when the man for Pakistan Shoaib Malik came into the scene. If they had to have a chance of chasing it Malik had to stay there till the end. At the later part of the chase, he was joined by skipper Shahid Afridi but by that time the game looked at a distance from them.
A trademark Afridi cameo of 29 from 20 balls with 3 sixes got Pakistan inches away from the win and with Malik there batting at 75 they fancied their chances of getting 10 in the last over, but Woakes ensured the game ended at equality.
It was now for the Super Over to decide the fate of the match. Pak were batting first and Morgan handed the ball to Chris Jordan who bowled one of the best super over we have seen in international cricket, giving away just 3 runs 2 of which were leg byes and a wicket on the last ball. England needed just 4 to win though Shahid Afridi tried his best and bowled well, 4 runs are a little too little to be defendable and as Morgan dived to complete the second run on the 5th ball England won the match and the series 3-0 to whitewash the hosts in the T20I series.

As I have often said no one wins games better from losing situations than Pakistan. But no one loses them better from winning positions.

3/1. Jordan take a bow. Pakistan just didnt turn up for the Super Over but credit the bowling. England could finish it in 1 ball. PAKvsENG

Malik doesn't get to bat in the superover after scoring more runs than the rest of Pakistan batsmen combined. Top strategy. #PakvEng

Dear Pakistan,
That's How You Play In Test, Not In SuperOver of T-20. LOL 😉 #PAKvENG #PAKvsENG— Sir Ravindra Jadeja (@SirJadeja) November 30, 2015
