The Gujarat Lions took on the Sunrisers Hyderabad at their fortress Rajkot in another one-sided contest. Captain David Warner won the toss as SRH elected to bat first. While newlywed Ravindra Jadeja was back for GL, SRH brought in Aditya Tare.
Batting first, Gujarat lost the man in-form Aaron Finch in the first over to a Bhuvneshwar Kumar inswinger. However, skipper Suresh Raina announced his form in a great fashion as he scored a spectacular innings of 75 runs from 51 balls. He kept on batting as wickets continued to fall from the other end.
The Hyderabad bowlers bowled well as GL could only manage 31 runs in the last 5 overs. Bhuvneshwar was the pick of the bowlers as he had outstanding figures of 4/29 which included 3 wickets in the last over. Mustafizur Rahman like usual was also quite economical as well.
On the other hand, Warner launched a counter attack on the Gujarat bowlers. He batted magnificently scoring 74 runs from just 48 balls taking off all the pressure from Shikhar Dhawan who wasn’t in a great patch prior to the game. Dhawan managed to score his first half-century in this year’s IPL.
Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a dominant 10 wickets win over the table toppers Gujarat Lions. The GL bowlers hardly exerted any pressure as the openers secured a comfortable win for them. Twitter kept everyone entertained with some splendid tweets. Right from lauding to trolling both Dhawan and Raina. Here are some of the Twitter reactions that took place during the course of the game:

Hyderabad's victory assured. That's two in a row which brings them to the forefront in the League. Which team is favourite now?!

David Warner's bat looks as close to a baseball club as a cricket bat can.

Gayle and Raina scheduled their children's birth during IPL season. Both of them get the best results during this period only.
