The final ODI between India and Zimbabwe turned out to be another one-sided affair as India whitewashed Zimbabwe 3-0. Skipper Graeme Cremer won the toss for the first time in the series as the hosts elected to bat first. While Malcolm Waller, Timycen Maruma, Tawanda Mupariwa, Nevill Madziva and Donald Tiripano in for Zimbabwe; 30-year old Faiz Fazal made his much awaited debut for Team India.
While Zimbabwe began slowly with Vusi Sibanda and Chamu Chibabha getting starts, they lost the plot once again. They lost 4 consecutive wickets in the middle as their innings folded for a paltry 123. It was yet another dismal performance by the hosts as they failed to even put up a fight.
Jasprit Bumrah again was the man of the moment as he picked a four-wicket haul while Yuzvendra Chahal got 2 wickets. Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni also had a good day in the field as Indian batsmen were again set an easy target for victory.
Chasing 123 India steered to victory quite comfortably. KL Rahul was again splendid as he powered his way to 63* while Faiz also grabbed eyeballs with a brilliant 55 not out on debut. India went on to win the game by 10 wickets and also whitewashed Zimbabwe.
This series turned out to be an important assignment for the youngsters as they got to prove their credentials at the international stage. While some on Twitter were happy to see the Indian youngsters step up, some slammed and trolled the mediocre performance by the Zimbabwe team. Here are some of the Twitter reactions that took place during the course of the game:

#FWIW in Jasprit Bumrah, India have finally found a bowler who can run through sides lower order. Now for him stay fit and get better.

Like the idea of MS Dhoni captaining this side in Zimbabwe.Good for younger players. And Faiz Fazal must be thrilled to get his cap from him
