The Indian skipper didn’t look happy at the way the game was going post the smog break, and he signalled to Ravindra Jadeja and Wriddhiman Saha to come back as the hosts wanted to have a crack at the visitor’s batting.
Earlier in the 2nd Day, Kohli was trapped by Sandakan as the skipper went back scoring a majestic 243. At one point during the break, the Sri Lankan team manager, India’s head coach and other officials were seen having a word with the umpires. The visiting sides’ pacer Suranga Lakmal left the field after bowling just two deliveries of his 22nd over.
Kohli on a rampage
The Lankans have already lost a wicket as they look to reply to India’s daunting total. It was skipper Kohli’s sixth double hundred in Test cricket and second against Sri Lanka in as many games. Kohli has gone past 500 runs in this series and he will look to end it on a high.
