New Zealand after conceding the first match to the visitors defeated Pakistan by an astounding 10 wickets at Hamilton to square the series 1-1. Earlier Pakistan scored 168/7 in their quota of 20 overs. Umar Akmal displayed some majestic pinch hitting as he scored 56 from 27 balls that included four boundaries and four sixes as well. He was nicely supported by Shoaib Malik who scored a 30-ball 39.

New Zealand never found it tough as they got going from the start and managed to throw back the pressure on Pakistan straightaway. The Pakistani bowlers failed to even trouble the batsmen as Guptill and Williamson seemed comfortable at the crease. With easy boundaries on one side, it was always going to be tough for the visitors.

The Pakistani bowlers had no answers and were smashed all over the park. Guptill scored 87 runs off 58 balls with 4 sixes and 9 boundaries while Williamson raced his way to a gritty 48 ball 72 which included 11 boundaries. The duo registered the best opening and the best partnership in T20Is putting up 171 unbeaten. The Kiwis romped home in a majestic fashion. Both Guptill and Kane Williamson were adjudged as Man of the match. After a thumping 10-wicket loss to the Kiwis, Pakistani fans were not at all entertained with their bowlers.

Watch some hilarious Twitter reactions as Pakistan bowlers swayed away runs at the batsmen’s will.
