Twitter Reactions on Pakistan’s thrilling win over South Africa: World Cup 2015: South Africa went into Auckland on the back of a huge win against the West Indies, all their batsmen looked in out-standing form and bowlers in total control of the proceedings. Whereas Pakistan had all the departments to take care of, scattered batting, dropped fielding standards and there bowlers were due to come good against a quality batting line. Very few would have bet on Pakistan to beat the Proteas in Auckland today, but those who did would have won in millions. For the first half of the rain affected match South Africa looked certain to win it as they kept the batsmen in check and all Pak could manage at the cost of 10 wickets was a mediocre 222 (47 over’s). South Africa was given 232 as target by the D/L method. Make the tail-enders stay and control the innings himself, he did that to an extent but could not take SA over the line and fell in the end, with him their hopes of winning walked back to the dugout as well. We all know the world of twitter is quick on pricking you for the slightest of mistakes committed on the field. Whereas what the Proteas did was Choke, with an almost manageable score, they lost to Pakistan.
