The Indian cricket team scripted a wonderful victory over the Aussies in the fourth and final Test at Dharamsala and regained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in style. It was a brilliant comeback by the whole team as they showed character after losing the opening Test by a whooping 333 runs margin.
There were a lot of doubts over the performance of Team India after Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper ruled himself out of the final Test leaving the fans disappointed. But the team displayed tremendous patience and discipline to outplay a quality side like Australia in the decider. It was a tight series right from the start and the quality of cricket played has truly been excellent.
Australia won the toss and posted a total of 300 opting to bat first. Australian skipper Steve Smith was emphatic once again with the bat scoring a vital ton for his team. He is one Australian batsman who has shown his class repeatedly throughout the series as he has managed to score a huge 499 runs in the same.
On the other hand, India debutant Kuldeep Yadav dominated the bowling picking up 4 wickets which helped his team restrict the visitors to a low total after they got off to a solid start.
India took a lead of 32 runs batting second while Nathan Lyon picked up 5 for the Aussies. But everything fell apart in the second innings for the visitors as Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin picked up three wickets each. India only had to chase down 105 to get their hands on the Border-Gavaskar Trophy which they did losing only two wickets.
A solid knock from KL Rahul and an aggressive display from Ajinkya Rahane saw India past the finish line in a spectacular fashion. It was a superb effort by the whole team and the combined effort has been the key for the Indians in the series. Each and every player played their part in bringing back the prestigious trophy back in the country much to the joy of the supporters.

I've watched every one of India's 13 Tests at home this season. They are a very likeable side well led by Kohli. Going to miss watching them
