Twitter Reactions: Twitter slams Shikhar Dhawan’s poor form: The Indian southpaw’s poor run of form continued, as he yet again got out cheaply against South Africa in the 2nd innings.

The Indian opener registered a pair of ducks in the first Test match against South Africa at Mohali.

Shikhar Dhawan was undone by Vernon Philander on both occasions. First half, he was caught by Amla in the fist innings, while edging one to AB de Villiers in the 2nd innings.

India were bowled out for 201 in the first innings. South Africa in reply were bundled out for 184.

Ravi Shastri had earlier said that Shikhar Dhawan is in red hot form, while he argued fans not to mix up ODI and Test forms.

“Getting runs at a venue of your first Test match, nothing like it. But the biggest mistake people make is that they mix Test and ODI form. Test match form he comes back at the back of two Test hundreds, so he is very much in form, he is hot,” Shastri said

Shikhar Dhawan so far in SA series has registered scores of 3, 11, 23, 23, 13, 7, 60, 0, 0.
