The Gemini Arabians versus Sagittarius Strikers match was a delight for every cricket lovers. The match began with the Virender Sehwag batting spectacle. It seems retirement has not changed anything in Sehwag. The Delhi dasher, who is having a wonderful time with the bat at the Masters Champions League, once again mesmerized everyone with a scintillating century today. It was a vintage Sehwag show as he thrashed the Sagittarius Strikers bowlers. He went to bat till the penultimate over of the first innings and hit an astounding knock of 134 from just 63 balls, studded with 10 four and 11 breathtaking sixes. It was a typical Sehwag innings where he started off with a boundary, brought his half-century with a six and did the same to bring his century as well.

Virender Sehwag was all over the match until the second last over of the match when he got out but there was even more exciting things waiting to happen in the match. West Indies military medium pacer Krishmar Santokie stunned everyone after he took four wickets off four balls in the 20th over of the match. His scalps were Kumar Sangakkara, Brad Hodge, Justin Kemp and Naved ul Hasan. The last ball also resulted in a wicket but it didn’t go into Santokie’s kitty as it was run out. Chanderpaul took strike for the last ball and flicked the ball towards deep square leg and completed a single. But, Kyle Mills at the other end rushed in to steal a second run without calling for the West Indian legend and thus was run out at the wicket- keeper’s end.
