Indian batsman Rohit Sharma turned 34 today and wishes poured in from every corner for the birthday boy. Rohit is currently leading his Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians in the ongoing 14th edition of the league, where his team has had a bumpy ride so far.

Rohit Sharma leading Mumbai Indians in IPL 2021
The five-time champions Mumbai Indians have not had an ideal start to their campaign this year. The IPL being held in a caravan format, Mumbai’s first five matches were scheduled at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where they ended up losing three games.
They have shift base for the next four games in Delhi and managed to kickstart their proceedings with a victory over the Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. Mumbai will be next up against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 1st May 2021 (Saturday). Speaking of Sharma’s form, he has not quite been able to light up the tournament thus far, having scored 215 runs from six innings at an average of 35.83 and strike rate of 125.73.
Punching below their weight, Mumbai is currently placed on the fourth spot but would eye to pace up soon as the tournament inches closer towards its halfway mark.
