Twitter trolls Hardik Pandya for walking on the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week 2019

Hardik Pandya is currently spending some quality time away from the game. He has been rested from the entire West Indies tour by the selectors to manage his workload. But the all-rounder is actually not resting at the moment. He was recently seen turning a runaway model at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. He walked on the ramp along with Lisa Haydon for Amit Aggarwal.

There is no doubt about the fact that Hardik is a fashion freak and he is trying his hand at modelling maybe. Interestingly, he was also the show-stopped along with Lisa and had donned a maroon attire which set the stage on fire. However, this hasn’t gone down well with the Twitterati as they trolled him hilariously also taking a dig at the Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh.

Many felt that Hardik Pandya has changed completely after meeting Ranveer during the World Cup and is wearing different dresses like him.

Hardik expected to return next month

Meanwhile, as far as Hardik Pandya on-field assignment is concerned, he is expected to return for the T20I series against South Africa. India’s home season will commence next month with South Africa being the first visitors. They will play three T20 Internationals and as many Tests on the tour.

With Hardik’s back being an issue for quite some time, it is important for Team India to manage him properly. This was the same reason he’s been rested at the moment. If not for the T20Is, he will definitely return for the Test series against the Proteas as India look to extend their dominance at home.

The 25-year-old loves to try out new things in terms of fashion and he did it at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. But the netizens trolled him hilariously calling him Ranveer 2.0 and while some of them advised him to concentrate on his game rather than walking on the ramp.
