Twitter trolls Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes for their expressions during swab test
The England players have entered their bio-secure environment for their training.
Life after the coronavirus pandemic will be quite different. Things won’t be the same even if we eradicate the infection of the COVID-19 entirely. Travelling won’t be easy for people and there will be hundreds of protocols that need to be followed. Public interactions will change forever and it is also unlikely that we will see a public event at some time soon at least.
Amidst all this, cricket will start again soon. However, it is not going to be played in a normal way. England will take on West Indies in the three-match Test series starting soon. All the matches of this series will be played behind closed doors. This is because of the current situation which doesn’t allow public events to be taken place.
Twitterati troll Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad for their expressions
The players have shifted to a bio-secure environment that has been created by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to ensure the safety of all the players taking part. The England team entered this bio-secure environment for training and all the players were tested for the novel coronavirus.
For this, ECB uploaded pictures on Twitter in which we can see captain Joe Root, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali doing the adequate testing before entering the bio-secure ‘bubble’. The caption said, “Life in the bubble begins.”
The faces made by Broad and Woakes in these pictures were quite funny at a single glance. People on Twitter noticed this and started pointing out. Fans also jumped in with their own explanation of the images. A fan even replied that Broad is thinking about every time he got the wicket of David Warner during last year’s Ashes. Someone also said that Chris Woakes’ face looks like a baby just tasted lemon for the first time.
Here’s how Twitter reacted
