Twitter user asks Shadab Khan whose phone password he would steal, he responds
Shadab Khan is currently captaining Islamabad United in the resumed edition of the PSL 2021.
Pakistan all-rounder and limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan has revealed that he wants to know Pakistan’s prolific opening batter Imam-ul-Haq’s phone password. The 22-year-old leg-spinner made the tickling confession recently during a Twitter Question & Session.
“If u have choice to steal password of any player’s mobile phone which player’s password u want to get??!!!!!” wrote a fan on Twitter. In response, Shadab wrote “Imam Ul Haq”. Nephew of the legendary Inzamam ul Haq, Imam’s cricketing journey has not been easy with many labelling him a product of nepotism despite the genuine talent in the southpaw.
Defying all odds and his detractors, however, Imam has risen the ranks with his brilliant exploits at his job. The flamboyant opener currently averages an impressive 51.37 in the 50-over format for his team, having played 43 innings. In his short career thus far, Imam has amassed 1966 runs, including seven centuries and nine half-centuries.
He is currently serving his Pakistan Super League team, Peshawar Zalmi, and has scored 89 from four outings with a strike rate of 121.91. Imam was last active in international cricket during Pakistan’s South Africa tour, where he struck two crucial half-centuries at Centurion in a series that the visitors won 3-1.
Shadab Khan leading the charge of Islamabad United
Imam’s compatriot Shadab Khan is currently captaining Islamabad United in the resumed edition of the PSL 2021, which was postponed earlier this year after multiple Covid-19 cases emerged inside the bio-secure environment prepared for the league.
Shadab’s United are currently seated second in the table with four wins and two losses from six games, while Zalmi are tied on points at the third point, having played seven games. Lahore Qalandars sits atop the table with 10 points from six games, while Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators occupy the last three spots respectively.
Pakistan’s national team is set to travel to England after the conclusion of the ongoing PSL edition on June 24. The tour gets underway with the first ODI at Cardiff on July 8, followed by Lord’s and Birmingham on July 10 and 13 respectively. As many T20Is follow at Nottingham, Leeds and Manchester between July 16 to 20.
