India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was left dismayed after he was mistakenly referred to as Ajay Jadeja by a fan. Jadeja even took to micro-blogging site Twitter to elaborate the incident. However, his angry tweet has now attracted several criticisms from users who didn’t miss the chance to roast him.

One of the fans called him Ajay on his way back to the home from the airport which left him furious of not being recognized even after playing international cricket for almost 9 years. Certainly, Jaddu has made the country proud all these years and is a known personality. However, this could’ve been a measly attempt from just another random fan to make a fun of the cricketer which surely didn’t go well with him.

Jadeja was a part of the Indian team that recently defeated Sri Lanka in the 3-Test series and also equalled the record of Australia for winning nine consecutive Test series. The 29-year-old bowled exceedingly well in the series despite the pitches being the simulation of the upcoming South Africa tour in January and largely favouring the pacers.

However, despite his splendid display with the bowl, he still irked the Twitterati after posting that angry message on Twitter.

You can see the reaction to Jaddu’s Tweet below

Ravindra Jadeja looked on top and actually bowled really well on the final day of the third Test against Sri Lanka in Delhi. He scalped three wickets and was the only bowler who looked threatening on a placid track.

Ajay Jadeja was one of the best finishers for the Indian team and has won the matches single-handedly. Ravindra on the other hand, was the highest wicket-taker in 2013 when India triumphed in ICC Champions Trophy. However, he is finding it tough to make it to the limited-overs set up after the national selectors decided to give the younger crop of spinners a chance.
