Twitterati troll Jaydev Unadkat over his price-tag after a poor show this season

Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered their first loss in last 10 matches at their home ground at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Wednesday. They didn’t play to their full potential on the day and looked rather lacklustre on the field which ld to their defeat. While the fielding was completely below-par, the bowlers were also not up to the mark. Jaydev Unadkat was the bowler who leaked most runs on the day only now to get trolled by the Twitterati over his performance so far in the tournament.

Royals had bought him for a whopping amount of Rs 11.5 Crores in the mega-auction earlier this year following his stunning performance last year. But the heavy price-tag has pressurised the bowler it seems as he has failed to deliver so far and looks like he has lost his rhythm completely.

Worst bowler of the day

Jaydev Unadkat endured one of the worst days of this season so far as the KKR batsmen took full toll of his poor bowling. He conceded 34 runs in 3 overs and most importantly leaked 17 runs in the 17th over when the game was in the balance with the opposition needing 36 runs off 4 overs. But his over finished the game as it was a stroll in the park since then for the visitors. The left-arm pacer is struggling big time in last 4 matches and there is also a possibility that he might get dropped from the side now.

Though despite all the hype around, Unadkat had stressed that there was no pressure on him with the associated price tag and will look to perform the same way he did last year. But Twitterati is irked with him and has trolled him hilariously for his horror outing in the game. They felt that the franchise has wasted their money by paying so much to him.
