After the convincing performance against the Pakistanis, India took on a demoralised Sri Lankan side at Kennington Oval, London, keeping an eye on the semi-final berth of the ICC Champions Trophy. Indians were on a high after their win against the arch-rivals, while Sri Lankans had to win today to keep themselves alive in the tournament.

Lasith Malinga was the most impressive with the ball for the Sri Lankans as he picked up a couple of crucial wickets by giving away 70 runs in the ten overs he bowled.
