Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MLA Panna Lal Shakya became the center of all jokes and trolls on the social media recently. When he had made some bold remarks on the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, little did he know that he would up amusing many on the social media. Recently, Panna Lal Shakya had quoted that the ace Indian cricketer should have married in India.
The reason that he had given for his statement seems quite amusing too. Shakya had remarked that had Virat Kohli tied the knot to Anushka Sharma in India, then the tourism of India would have been boosted. This is how the BJP politician perceived the entire episode that had transpired surrounding the popular ‘Virushka’ wedding. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma had tied the knot on December 11 this year.
They got hitched at arguably one of the most picturesque venues in the world. The destination wedding took place at the second most costliest resort in the world. As soon as the news about the wedding broke out, the social media went in a frenzy. The tweets came in flooding for the newly-wed couple as the biggest stars of the industry lined up to wish Virat and Anushka.
However, it seems that the BJP MLA did not quite like the way the most popular face of the country got hitched. While the opinions and comments of an individual remains to be their own perspective, there is nothing that can stop people from trolling on the social media.
