As the two teams, India and Australia geared up for the series determining 3rd ODI at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The Indore Police caught two individuals, who were selling forged tickets for the match. The cops have identified them as Ravindra Mimrot (24) and Dhiraj Sarwan (23), as per the additional SP of crime branch Amarendra Singh.

They caught them with nine counterfeits. As per reports they had scanned the original tickets and printed as many as 40 tickets and had sold 31 before being nabbed by the cops. The tickets they sold were worth Rs. 41,000, the report further suggested.

Australia win the toss

The game got underway in Indore with Australian captain Steve Smith winning the first toss of the series and he decided to bat first on a batting-friendly wicket.

They made two changes in the team and Smith at the toss said: “We are going to bat. I don’t read wickets too well, hopefully we can post a good total. The next three games are must-win for us. Finch and Handscomb are playing in place of Cartwright and Wade. We are trying to strengthen the middle-order a little bit, hopefully we can step up today.”

The Indian skipper said that they were also looking to bat first. But as the curator had suggested it could be easier to bat under lights and doesn’t mind the toss going against them.

“We would have batted first as well. The pitch could play better for the batsmen under lights, maybe it will be a little slow during the day when it is dry. Under lights it is beautiful to bat on, I have played here before. The wrist spinners are going to turn the ball on any surface anyway, but hopefully we will get some turn during the day. We are playing the same team,” Kohli said.
