The closest to him is Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene with 205 catches. With Jayawardene no more playing Test cricket, Dravid’s records will be intact. Now a days, most of the bowlers are not quitting tests in order to prolong their ODI and T20 careers. This is one of the records that will stay until the game is played. 3 – Sri Lanka’s Team Total of 952-6 Sri Lanka holds the record of highest total in Test History of 952 runs. Now a days, teams are declaring after scoring 600 or 700 odd runs in Test matches. So, scoring 952 runs in a Test will not be broken so easily. 2 – Sachin Tendulkar’s 200 Tests Sachin Tendulkar is the only player to play 200 tests. But his record of playing 200 Tests in his career will stay forever. He began playing Tests in 1989 and called it a day in 2013 ie. after 24 years.
