Samson scored at an average of 26.07 which included 2 fifties. 9 – Shikhar Dhawan, DD: 2008 – 340 runs Shikhar Dhawan DD. He scored those runs in 14 games he played at an average of 37.77 which included 4 fifties. 8 – Ambati Rayudu, MI: 2010 – 356 runs Ambati Rayudu MI. He scored 356 runs in the season and played a crucial role in team’s qualification for the finals. He scored at an average of 27.38 in 14 games he played and had a strike rate of 144.71. 7 – Naman Ojha, RR: 2010 – 377 runs Naman Ojha RR. He scored those runs at an average of 28.21 in 16 games he played with help of 4 fifties. 5 – Manish Pandey, KKR: 2014 – 401 runs Manish Pandey KKR. Playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 season, he scored 401 runs at an average of 30.84. His innings of 94 in the final won his the man of the match award. 4 – Saurabh Tiwary, MI: 2010 – 419 runs Saurabh Tiwary MI. (© Getty Images) Saurabh Tiwary turned out to be another Mumbai Indians’ player to feature in this list as he scored 419 runs in the 2010 season. He scored those runs at an average of 29.92 with a strike rate of 135.59 and won the Emerging player of the season. 3 – Mandeep Singh, KXIP: 2012 – 432 runs Mandeep Singh KXIP. He scored 439 runs in the season for Delhi Daredevils, the second most runs in a single season by uncapped player. He scored 439 runs in 14 games at an average of 33.76 with 4 fifties and won the Emerging player of the tournament award. 1 – Paul Valthaty, KXIP: 2011 – 463 runs Paul Valthaty IPL . During the 2011 season, Valthaty scored 463 runs for Kings XI Punjab, the most runs for any uncapped player in a single IPL season.
