Samson scored at an average of 26.07 which included 2 fifties. 9 – Shikhar Dhawan, DD: 2008 – 340 runs Shikhar Dhawan DD. He scored 356 runs in the season and played a crucial role in team’s qualification for the finals. His innings of 94 in the final won his the man of the match award. 4 – Saurabh Tiwary, MI: 2010 – 419 runs Saurabh Tiwary MI. He scored 439 runs in the season for Delhi Daredevils, the second most runs in a single season by uncapped player. He scored 439 runs in 14 games at an average of 33.76 with 4 fifties and won the Emerging player of the tournament award. 1 – Paul Valthaty, KXIP: 2011 – 463 runs Paul Valthaty IPL . During the 2011 season, Valthaty scored 463 runs for Kings XI Punjab, the most runs for any uncapped player in a single IPL season.
