'Unique hai tum toh yaar' - Twitter hilariously reacts on Rishabh Pant's autograph to Nathan Lyon
One fan also noted that Rishabh Pant’s signature was much different than the one which SG prints on its bats.
Rishabh Pant has been the talk of the town ever since he played a match-winning knock against Australia in the final Test. His knock of unbeaten 89 runs helped India chase down a huge total of 328 on the final day as they won a historic series against Australia. His heroics made him the star in the eyes of all the cricket fans.
Another incident has happened which has got social media talking about it. People on social media noticed Rishabh Pant’s signature and started making a joke out of that. The incident started after Nathan Lyon uploaded the picture of the jersey which the Indian team had given to him on social media profiles.
The Australian off-spinner Lyon had played his 100th Test during the final match against India at the Gabba. After the match, during the presentation ceremony, India’s stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane called Lyon and gave him a signed Indian jersey. All the players of the Indian team had signed on that jersey which was presented to the spinner.
Twitter can’t get enough of Rishabh Pant’s signature
In the jersey, people started to notice that Rishabh Pant’s signature has a smiley in it. Even Mayank Agarwal’s signature had a smiley but Pant’s smiley had something which stuck out for the fans. One of the fans said that his signature hasn’t changed since kindergarten.
One fan also noted that Rishabh Pant’s signature was much different than the one which SG prints on its bats. Some fans also made their observation regarding Prithvi Shaw and Cheteshwar Pujara’s signature. However, most of them were talking about Pant.
Here are some of the tweets:
Rishabh Pant will next be seen during India and England Test series which will be started on February 5 in Chennai. It is expected that Pant will be taking the gloves ahead of Wriddhiman Saha. In the home season of 2019-20, Saha was Kohli’s preferred keeper as he has shown better skills with the gloves. However, this time around, Pant’s heroics will surely see him edge over Saha, even though there is a risk whether Pant can show solid wicketkeeping skills on turning Indian wickets.
