As the T20I series between India and New Zealand is heading to a close, the Men in Blue have a jam-packed schedule awaiting them. Rohit Sharma & Co. will lock horns with Australia for a multi-format series on their home turf. India will kick-start their campaign with the iconic four-match Test series (Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023) on February 9 and the attention will shift towards the ODIs from March 17 onwards. India presently stand at the second position in the World Test Championship 2021-23 points table with a points percentage of 58.93. They would like to win the upcoming series and qualify for the finals.
After battling Australia, the Indian players will head into the Indian Premier League, which is expected to run from the last week of March to the end of May. If the Men in Blue have a great showing at the 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy, they will head to England after the completion of the lucrative T20 tournament for the WTC 2021-23 Final. A lot of cricket news are coming out related to these series creating excitement among die-hard fans.
After the probable summit clash, India will be hosted by the West Indies for a multi-format series. The Men in Blue are then set to feature in the Asia Cup 2023 in September. Post the Asian tournament, Australia will return to Indian shores for an ODI series.
In October, India will welcome the top cricketing nations from around the globe for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Rohit & co. will look to bring their A-game into play in the marquee tournament and write their names in history books by clinching the world title.
After the high-profile competition gets done and dusted, the Men in Blue will again take the stage alongside the Aussies but this time for a T20I series. And then for the final fixture of the year, India will head to South Africa to play a full-fledged series that will extend to the following year. Fans will be excited to follow the live scores of all matches India will play for the rest of the year.
