‘Usne loot maar diya toh’ – Yuzvendra Chahal names the Indian he won’t prefer to stay in lockdown with

Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spin bowler, has revealed the name of the Indian cricketer he won’t want to spend the lockdown period with. The tweaker zeroed in on fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who has played loads of cricket along with Chahal at the highest level. India is currently in a 21-day lockdown until April 15 and people have been asked to spend their time at home.

The coronavirus pandemic has created a lot of panic and the cricketers are passing their time with their family members. Both Bumrah and Chahal are also in their respective residence. Recently, Chahal featured on a show, hosted by commentator Jatin Sapru where he opened up on life during the lockdown. Chahal also revealed the reasons behind taking Bumrah’s name.

“Bolta hi nahi h kuch. Uska yorker maarne ka man hua aur usne lota maar diya to kya karunga main (Bumrah does not speak much and what he throws a utensil at me if he feels like bowling a yorker),” Chahal said.

Despite not being in action on the field, Chahal has managed to stay connected to his fans and supporters. In the last few months, the Haryana bowler has uploaded a number of videos. During the tour of New Zealand, a couple of months ago, he shared a clip of him, dancing with his teammates. Then he uploaded videos of him, having some fun with some of his friends.

Thereafter, Chahal resorted to making a video with his father. In the clip, the duo danced. Later, Rohit Sharma the vice-captain of the ODI and T20I team, hilariously asked Chahal of not having any shame while involving his father in his tik-tok videos. Chahal has continued to post on the platform.

Bumrah, on the other hand, posted a few pictures where he was seen, cleaning the home and also gardening. At a time when the need of social distancing has been iterated plenty of times, Indian cricketers have been taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their daily activities at home. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the wait for the resumption of cricket continues.
