Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the most revered cricketing name in the country. The contributions that Sachin has made to the Indian cricket, and to the world cricket, remains unmatched. He holds numerous cricket records and is regarded as the finest player of his generation. He retired from international cricket half a decade ago.
However, the retirement has not quite kept him away from the game. Sachin Tendulkar has been on the advisory panel of the BCCI and is often seen helping the younger generations to groom better in the game of cricket. Furthermore, whenever he gets a chance, he does not miss out on taking the cricket willow in his hand.
Recently, a video has gone viral on the social media in which Sachin is seen playing street cricket in Mumbai. It is tough to find vacant places to play cricket in the busy capital city of Maharashtra. But Sachin managed to find one and ended up knocking a few deliveries in his free time. Apparently, as per the reports in the DNA, Sachin played with some of the hotel staff on the streets of Mumbai.
According to reports, the location where Sachin Tendulkar was spotted playing cricket is Dayaldas Road in Vile Parle East. The short video also sees Sachin speak a lot to the others who were playing with him. The cars can be seen in the vicinity and that is an indication that it was quite a busy area. The video ends with a car passing by and a girl identifying Sachin.
She yells his name in disbelief. In fact, the same could have been the case with many. Whoever would have seen him playing gully cricket on the day, would have pinched themselves in disbelief to get the reality hit.
