It was another enthralling day in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as some records went for a toss and the rain gods’ involvement influenced a few results. Whilst Shahbaz Nadeem broke a 21-year-old List-A record, three games held in the state of Karnataka got disrupted due to rain and the VJD Method came into play to decide the result.

The game which drew a lot of attention was Jharkhand in their match against Rajasthan as that game saw a long-lasting List A record shattered. Their bowlers did a good job in getting some early wickets, but Priyank Panchal’s 117 off 129 balls helped Gujarat get to the score.

In reply, the match got interrupted when Baroda were at 151/2 in 29 overs. No cricket was played after that due to rain and Baroda were adjudged the winner of the game.
