A total of 12 matches with three each in all the four groups took place on Sunday in the Vijay Hazare Trophy where most of them turned out to be high scorers and thrillers. Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 123 helped Punjab to defeat Karnataka by four runs in a game where KL Rahul’s 107 went in vain. Ravindra Jadeja put his failures with the ball aside by scoring an unbeaten century in the 330-run chase against Jharkhand.

2 – Number of overs Ravindra Jadeja bowled against Jharkhand today. These are the fewest he bowled in his 21-match List A career for Saurashtra. He never bowled less than five overs for them in this format. Jadeja is yet to pick a wicket in the 32 overs he bowled in this tournament.
6 – Shubman Gill’s six sixes against Karnataka are the joint most by a Punjab player in a List A innings. Harbhajan Singh hit six sixes in his 25-ball 51 against Gujarat in 2014 while Yuvraj also hit six sixes during his 93-ball 93 against Mumbai in 2015.
7 – Ishan Kishan’s six sixes against Saurashtra are the joint most for Jharkhand in a List A innings. Saurabh Tiwary also hit seven sixes during his 104-ball 102 against Hyderabad last year.
107 – KL Rahul’s 107 against Punjab was his 4th century in the List A format with the first two coming in the 2012/13 Vijay Hazare Trophy and the 3rd century on his ODI debut in 2016.
113* – Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 113 off 116 balls with seven fours and four sixes in a 330-run chase against Jharkhand. This is Jadeja’s 2nd List A cricket hundred with the first coming against Madhya Pradesh in 2015/16 where he scored 134.
154 – The 154-run partnership by Jammu and Kashmir’s openers Ahmed Bandy and Shubham Khajuria against Services is the highest stand for J&K for any wicket in List A cricket. The pair surpassed the previous highest of 122 for the 2nd wicket between R Sharma and Kavaljit Singh in 1994/95 against Himachal Pradesh.
329/9 – Jharkhand’s total of 329/9 against Saurashtra is their highest total in the List A format surpassing their previous highest of 304/3 against Assam in the 2008/09 season.
333/6 – Saurashtra chased down the target of 330 against Jharkhand which is the highest successful run-chase at the RGI Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad going past the 296-run chase by Karnataka against the home team in 2014/15. The 333/6 total by Saurashtra is also their 2nd highest List A total behind 340/5 against Madhya Pradesh in 2015/16.
