Cricket fans in India have extreme reactions to victory and defeat of the national side. As India slumped to an unexpected loss against Sri Lanka yesterday, there have been a lot of talks going in the media about the Indian cricket team. It is the same India side which was hailed a few days ago for their huge win against Pakistan on Sunday.
Riding on a brilliant 125 from Shikhar Dhawan, who now has 3 ICC Champions Trophy hundreds, and sparkling half-centuries from Dhoni and Rohit Sharma; India amassed a daunting score of 321 for 6 at the end of the 50 overs. At the half way point, nobody would have expected Sri Lanka to gun down the biggest chase in the history of the Champions Trophy.
Sri Lanka gunned down 322
The platform was laid thanks to a 159-run stand between Gunathilaka (76) and Mendis (89) followed by decent contributions from skipper Mathews, Kusal Perera and Gunaratne meant that the Islanders reached the target with 7 wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare.
Former India batsman Vinod Kambli was critical of Virat Kohli’s planning in this crucial game. In a tweet, Kambli said that Kohli did not have a “plan” and was “going with the flow”. He carried on and said that Kohli must learn something from Pakistan who planned well and won the game against South Africa the other day.
Mr kohli.where is the planning. Going with the flow.look at PakistanTeam planning against the south Africa. Outstanding

Wins from Sri Lanka and Pakistan has left the group wide open
Pakistan’s triumph against South Africa was another upset in Group B which has left the group wide open. Only one out of favorites India and South Africa can progress through to the semi-finals which will be decided on Sunday when both teams collide at the Kennington Oval in London.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been resilient to cause major upsets and now find themselves fighting for a semi-final spot amongst each other. They will be pitted against each other at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Monday, in a virtual quarter final clash.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Kambli’s tweet:
What kind of shit is this…..Indian Cricketer shouldn't say this….
