Virat and Anushka fly Switzerland with family amidst rumours of their wedding

The rumours of the wedding of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli reached fever pitch on Thursday night when they were spotted at Mumbai and Delhi airports respectively. The Indian captain was recently involved in the third and final Test match in Delhi which was drawn and India won the three-match series 1-0. The victory also marked their ninth consecutive series win equalling the record of Australia. However, the news has been doing rounds that the most celebrated couple will get married in Italy this weekend.

Virat Kohli has been rested for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka ahead of an all-important tour to South Africa in January next year. Though it has been largely speculated that he will use this free time to marry his lady love much to the delight of their fans who have named the couple as ‘Virushka’. The childhood coach of Virat Rajkumar Sharma has also taken leave during the same period which has made the fans believe that the news of their highly anticipated marriage true.

Marriage in Milan?

If the reports of India Today are to be believed, Virat Kohli was spotted at Delhi airport on Thursday night who reached there around 11.30 pm and his flight took off at 12:45 am. The 29-year-old was wearing a jacket and had covered half his face with a hood so that people should not recognise him. Even the Bollywood Diva, Anushka Sharma was seen at Mumbai airport with her family. Her father Ajay Kumar, mother Ashima and elder brother Karnesh all left from the airport along with her.

According to sources, the family of Kohli and his close friends are supposed to have already booked their tickets to the Italian city Milan. All the events have fuelled the speculations of their much-awaited wedding though the couple is yet to comment anything on the matter. Even the spokesperson of Anushka refuted the reports of marriage and termed all the speculations as baseless. Only time would tell if the most celebrated couple is getting married in the coming weekend and if that happens their fans will surely celebrate the occasion.
