Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been one of the most talked-about couples in Indian cricket. Both aren’t ashamed about talking openly about their relationship. Virat is definitely proud of his better-half and has stood beside her through thick and thin. The Indian skipper also has shielded her when brickbats were hurled at Anushka by the public.
The couple tied the knots in a destination wedding in Italy. Prior to that rumours surrounding their marriage broke, but there wasn’t any confirmation surrounding the same. They kept everyone guessing before opening up on their wedding. Kohli uploaded a photo of their ceremony after which the news was confirmed. Thereafter, wishes poured in for the couple.
The couple then visited Finland for their honeymoon and posted some of their pictures on the exotic destination. They came back and threw reception parties in New Delhi and Mumbai, where several eminent personalities graced their presence. Anil Kumble, who was at loggerheads with Kohli during his stint as the head coach, also attended the ceremony.
Virat and Anushka’s admiration for dogs
They haven’t backtracked and their relationship has only flourished ever since. Virat recently played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League and Anushka attended his matches at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. During the matches, she looked pretty engrossed in the proceedings on the 22 yards and also was seen cheering and pumping her fists on his team’s accomplishments.
Virat’s love for dogs is an open secret. His first dog was a White Pomeranian. Thereafter, he had a Golden Labrador. Currently, he is the owner of a Beagle called Bruno. Previously, Virat mentioned that there’s no dull moment when Bruno is around. Today, Anushka posted a picture on Twitter where she and Virat have been seen playing with a puppy
