The third Test match between England and India was completely dominated by the hosts. They outplayed India in both departments to secure a win by an innings and 76 runs. Virat Kohli won the first toss of the series and elected to bat first. However, the decision quite didn’t go India’s way as the batting line-up collapsed and was wrapped up at just 78.

Coming into bat, England continued their domination with the bat as well. The openers provided a flying start to the team. However, when two strong oppositions are up against each other, the match often turns out quite an eventful affair. One such instance that buzzed on the internet is when Mohammed Shami sent back Jonny Bairstow for 29 runs in the 108th over. Shami bowled a length ball around off wherein Bairstow couldn’t resist and nipped an outside edge. Skipper Kohli moved to his left and grabbed a low catch.

Kohli who is often known for been super active and energetic on the 22 yards, celebrated the wicket in his own expressive way. He was seen celebrating the wicket with Rohit Sharma who was standing next to him. This moment between the two went viral on social media platforms.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma fans troll the rift-believers

For a long time now, there have been rumors of a potential rift between Kohli and Sharma. Any small thing that happens on the ground or off it, is more often than not boils down to these rumors. However, both the cricketers have rubbished these talks on multiple occasions.

Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have a huge fan base. And thus when they spotted a celebrating moment between them the fans took it to the internet to troll the haters.

Here is how the fans trolled the rift believers:

About the Test match, James Anderson yet again proved pivotal for England as he struck early on to remove the top order of the team in their first innings. After bundling out India early on, England put up a belligerent show with the bat as well. After a good start from the openers, Dawid Malan and Joe Root further strengthened the team with the latter registering a century.

In the second innings, Rohit Sharma stood for the side initially. Kohli and Pujara then held the fort of the team but eventually on day four the team was wrapped up as England triumphed.
