Virat Kohli and Anushka to tie the knot in December

The hot-favourite couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are all set to get married in December this year. The Indian skipper and the Bollywood actress are dating each other for a long time now and it was only a matter of time when they were going tie the knot. The former especially has not been afraid to open up to the media about his dream girl and has also praised her during the chat shows and interviews on air.

But Anushka has always kept her personal life preserved and has avoided the questions on Virat during the promotions of her films. Both of them were recently seen together in an advertisement for Manyavar exchanging quirky, new-age wedding vows. The news also comes as the joy for their fans as finally Virushka (as they call the duo) will be getting married now. Kohli has often come out in support of his girlfriend and had blasted the media for blaming her for his poor run of form in 2015 during the World Cup semifinal.

Kohli has requested for a break

According to the New Indian Express, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will tie the knot in December amidst the series against Sri Lanka. The captain has already requested the selectors and the Indian board to release him during the Test series in the same month citing personal reasons. However, the chief selector has cleared that he will be available for all the Test matches of the series. But he also confirmed that they would rest Kohli for the subsequent ODI series against the island nation.

Though the lovely couple won’t be able to enjoy their wedding for a long time as the Indian team is all set to embark on their tour to South Africa in the last week of December. None of the families have yet confirmed the news but it seems it would be a mere formality as all the things are falling into place for both of them and it would be the ideal time for both to get together. The team continues to be on the road in 2018 which would make difficult for Kohli to spare time for his much-awaited wedding.
