India players meet Afghanistan and Pakistan players
In the video, India’s prolific spinner Yuzvendra Chahal can be seen hugging Afghanistan skipper Mohammad Nabi. Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan, the captain and vice-captain of the Gujarat Titans at the IPL respectively, were also seen talking to each other as the Indian all-rounder interacted with Rashid and Nabi.
Kohli and Rashid Khan also shared a chat before the two walked off to their respective camps. Kohli was all smiles when he met Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. The two share a good bond on and off the field and the latter had also come out in support of Kohli when the Indian stalwart went through a bad phase during India’s tour of England.
The whole Indian roster gathered around VVS Laxman, the interim coach of the Indian team for the tournament, as all the players were seen carefully listening to the veteran. In the absence of Rahul Dravid, Laxman was appointed as India’s head coach for the Asia Cup on Wednesday and joined the team in Dubai after finishing his stint with the squad that faced Zimbabwe in Harare.
