Virat Kohli didn’t have a great time in the first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground against Aaron Finch’s Australia. He could score only three runs and perished to fast bowler Jhye Richardson. To add to his disappointment, India also lost the match by 34 runs under his leadership despite Rohit Sharma scoring a superlative 133. However, that didn’t fluster the Delhi-born by any stretch of the imagination.
He posted a picture with wife Anushka Sharma, also a Bollywood actress, to whom he has been married since December 2017. Subsequently, the fans on Twitter trolled him and asked him to do well in the second encounter at the Adelaide Oval. The 30-year-old scored a superlative ton in Adelaide and helped his team win the match by six wickets to draw level in the three-match series.
Then he again shared a photograph from prior to the match. The bearded beast uploaded a picture with India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar and better-half Anushka. Moreover, he captioned the picture and wrote, “With some people you don’t need to make an effort to connect,”

Virat doing well in Adelaide
The right-hander played a magnificent knock of 104 runs from 112 balls with five boundaries and a couple of sixes. It was also his 38th ODI ton. His knock helped the visiting team chase down a daunting 299. He came to bat after left-arm seamer Jason Benrendroff nipped out Rohit Sharma in the eighth over after the batter scored 43.
Virat didn’t drop his guard and kept milking the bowlers with sheer ease. When Richardson dismissed him in the 44th over, India needed 57 runs from 38 deliveries. MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik held their nerve and took India over the finishing line with four balls to spare. Kohli would now be keen to play another substantial knock at the MCG.
