After decimating Sri Lanka at home across all formats of the game, the Men in Blue will be aiming to do an encore. The nations are presently embroiled in a gruelling second Test encounter at Nagpur after the first game ended in a draw. The rain-hit fixture at Kolkata disrupted much of the game time on the first two days resulting the match to end in a draw.

Thus in a bid to seal the 3-match Test series, the Indian team led by skipper Virat Kohli will try everything within their grasp to win the Nagpur Test and keep their dominion over the Islanders intact. Taking a note of that fact, veteran South African spinner Johan Botha highlighted a moment from today’s play.

During the 3rd session on day 2, Virat was seen sneaking a quick bye when the ball ran to the wicketkeeper. Botha was left overwhelmed by Virat’s aggressiveness, even in a Test match and later put out a Tweet to appreciate his performance.

Day 2 of the Nagpur Test witnessed some flamboyant batting from the Indian team after the bowlers did a neat job to restrict the Islander to a measly total of 205. Jadeja and Ishant Sharma claimed 3 wickets each while Ashwin returned with four scalps to his name.

The Indian top order went all guns blazing as Murali Vijay blasted his 10th century while Cheteshwar Pujara notched up his 14th international century. The duo added 209 runs for the second wicket to set a platform from where India would look to bat the Islanders out of the contest.

Virat slammed a quick fifty as India ended Day 2 of the second Test against Sri Lanka at Nagpur with a lead of 107 India will be aiming to pile on the agony on a pitch that has become good for batting.
