Virat Kohli enjoys his ‘fan boy’ moment with Arijit Singh

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has expressed his delight after meeting the renowned Bollywood singer Arijit Singh and termed him as an ‘amazing person’. There has always been some connection between the cricketers and Bollywood celebrities over the years. Moreover, the Indian Premier League enhanced the relationship as most of the actors owned their share in the respective franchises. While Shahrukh Khan owns Kolkata Knight Riders, Preity Zinta and Shilpa are the owners of Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals respectively.

Arijit Singh too is one of the famous singers in India and contributes to almost every cinema nowadays. Every movie is having at least one song sung by the melodious voice of Arijit. Recently, he sang a ‘Channa Mereya’ song for the Smriti Mandhana, the upcoming star of the Indian Women’s cricket team, when she had appeared on the show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ which is hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Virat Kohli couldn’t stop himself from posting his click with Arijit Singh on social media website Twitter and expressed his happiness for meeting him. When the world is at the feet of the cricketer, it is amazing that even he is a die-hard of someone. He captioned the picture as, “Pure fanboy moment for me. What an amazing person he is. No one has captivated me with their voice like this man. God bless you Arijit.”

The 28-year-old seems to be enjoying the small break to the fullest as he recently shot an interview with Aamir Khan in a chat show and revealed some of the interesting insights. However, he would soon be gearing up now for the upcoming series against New Zealand. The Kiwis are already in the country and are playing a warm-up game. The 3-match series is all set to commence from October 22 in Mumbai at Wankhede.
