Virat Kohli gets trolled on his official Facebook page for using an 'unusual' caption
Kohli picked up a wicket of the centurion in the warm-up game and even he couldn't believe it.
The much-awaited Test series between Australia and India is only four days away and clearly, the excitement among the fans is at its peak. Even the practice game was aired live for the fans around the world and no wonder this is the visitors’ best chance to win their maiden Test series down under. Having said that, their bowlers struggled a lot in the only warm-up game and the captain Virat Kohli had to introduce himself to roll his arm over.
As soon as Kohli came on to bowl, the sparse Indian crowd present in the stands got excited and started cheering him. Even the commentators were upbeat as he almost got a wicket off his very first ball. He didn’t get any wicket in the short two-over spell but the skipper managed to scalp the centurion of the opposition, Harry Nielsen. However, Kohli was all smiles after picking up a wicket as he didn’t see it coming by any stretch of the imagination.
Even previously, he has trolled himself with his wrong foot bowling action and it was surprising to see the skipper bowl probably in order to rest his main bowlers for the main tussle.
Fans come up with hilarious comments
However, after a funny moment, Virat Kohli’s official Facebook page shared the video and captioned the post as “Is there anything the skipper cannot do?” While the motto was to enjoy the moment, the fans came up with hilarious trolls on the post. Some of them reminded that the 29-year-old is yet to win an IPL trophy for the Royal Challengers Bangalore while the others pointed out some serious glitches in his captaincy. Few of the fans trolled him for his weird bowling action which even Virat is embarrassed about.
Here’s the Facebook post
Jokes apart, Virat Kohli bowling hints at Team India playing only four bowlers during the Test with Hanuma Vihari taking up the responsibility of the part-time bowler. Also, if things didn’t go as planned, even the skipper might take the ball in hand.
