The 38-year-old aggressive opener also stated that with age by his side and his aggressive mindset, Kohli certainly will play a lot of cricket.”Virat is just 28-year-old and he will play at least for 10 more years and I think he will create some mega records and can surpass Tendulkar,” Sehwag added.
It’s going to take hell of an effort
Recently on the Lanka tour, Kohli scored his 30th ODI hundred in just 194 matches and is now only behind Sachin Tendulkar for most number of ODI centuries. The Indian skipper stated that his prime focus is to win matches for his team whenever he gets the opportunity.
“The great man (Sachin Tendulkar) is quite a bit away. That’s going to take a hell of an effort. Again, I am not thinking about that. It’s only about the team where even if I score a 90 not out and the team goes across the line, it’s good enough for me,” said Kohli.
