Indian skipper across all the formats Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their first baby in the month of January 2021. In the same light, Kohli took paternity leave from India’s current series and headed back to India after leading the 1st Test. The Indian skipper doesn’t leave any chance unturned to shower love on his spouse on social media. In fact, his love for his wife never remains hidden from fans’ eyes on and off the screen.

Recently, Anushka had a shoot with Vogue magazine, and the cover came up with her maternity look. She appeared absolutely stunning in the picture with her prominent baby bump. She looked every bit of gorgeous in cream coloured long coat and trousers. Though her post flooded with a lot of comments praising her look, the most special one has to be from her husband, Virat Kohli.

Kohli took no time to comment on her wife’s gorgeous picture and wrote ‘Beautiful’ with a heart emoticon. Throughout her journey, Anushka has dropped various pictures from her maternity look to treat her fans. No wonder, they are one of the most popular and loved celebrity couples of India.

Virat Kohli is currently on the paternity leave

Talking about Virat Kohli, he is on paternity leave to be with his wife. In the Australia tour, he led India in 3-match ODI and 3-match T20I series. India lost the ODI series but came victorious in the T20I series, with T Natarajan marking his debut in the best manner. Virat Kohli recently got featured in all the teams of the decade taken out by ICC. He became the only player to feature in all three teams, namely Test, ODI, and T20I of the decade. He was even named as skipper of the Test squad of the decade.

He also bagged prestigious honours like Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year and Garfield Sobers award for ICC Male Cricketer of the Decade. He mentioned that the awards are a recognition of his hard work for all these years.
