Virat Kohli introduces his friends - Yuzvendra Chahal and AB de Villiers
RCB led by Virat Kohli, got off to a poor start to the 11th season of the IPL as they lost the opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Royal Challengers Banglore struggled in the last season where they finished with the wooden spoon. After the mega-auction in January, where RCB made major changes there were expectations that RCB would perform better. But RCB led by Virat Kohli, got off to a poor start to the 11th season of the IPL as they lost the opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Virat Kohli on twitter
Virat Kohli is one of the busiest cricketers in the world, he captains India in all three formats along with captaining RCB in IPL. He rarely gets time to be with his family, as he manages his hectic schedule.
The Indian captain tweeted a picture of himself with AB De Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal. He wrote that work is hectic but he enjoys spending time with friends.
Chahal and De Villiers have been an integral part of RCB with Virat Kohli for many seasons now, hence the three share a good bonding.
Break for RCB
As mentioned above, Bangalore lost their opening match of the IPL against KKR. They have got a mini-break now before they face Kings XI Punjab on Friday. In IPL, games can come thick and fast so players try to make full use of mini-breaks they get during the tournament.
Virat Kohli’s men have a tough task awaiting them in the form of Punjab, who beat Delhi in their first match. RCB need their captain to fire if they want to be successful this time around. The other two guys in Virat’s tweet are also very important for RCB’s prospects in the IPL.
De Villiers looked in good form in the opening game where he was the top scorer for Bangalore. Chahal has become an integral part of the Indian team in the limited overs formats.
Virat Kohli and his friends hold key to Bangalore’s success in the IPL.
