That the Indian cricket team absolutely loves to play football is pretty well known now. Led by football-loving duo MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, the Indian players love to warm-up for all the games with a small football contest. Time and again, the players have shown their support for the game through different mediums. From urging the fans to support the national football team to playing in Celebrity-Clasico against the Bollywood Stars, Indian cricket stars never shy away when it comes to football.
Well, Kohli’s latest exhibit with a football shows that the Indian cricketers are really good when it comes to playing the famous game. Before the start of the third day’s play in Sydney, Kohli showed his football skills, and there was a good swing and dip on the balls he kicked while warming up on the sidelines. It should be noted that Kohli rates his skills very highly when it comes to football.
Last year in an interview with Star Sports, the India skipper had spoken on what should be his FIFA rating and had gone on say that in his head he is Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Someone asked me what would be FIFA rating, I said 98. Not below that at all. I am good at shooting, my right foot is good, my left foot is good. As a footballer, I think I am a complete player. In my head I am Ronaldo,” he had said.
Here is the clip showing Kohli’s skills with the football:

Kohli on the verge of history:
Kohli, meanwhile, is now looking set to create history in Australia. He is well on his way to becoming the first Indian skipper to win a Test series Down Under. Up 2-1 in the series, India are firmly on top in the ongoing fourth Test in Sydney. Batting first, the hosts rode on centuries from Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant to pile up 622 for 7. In reply, Australia were reeling at 198 for 5 at tea.
