Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is all set to lock horns with arch-rivals Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 39th fixture of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. Both the teams will be entering the contest after clinching a victory in their last game out of nowhere.
While RCB won the previous match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) owing to ‘One man show’ by Mr. 360, AB de Villiers, the Knight Riders snatched the last game from the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Super Over, due to the exploits of the pacer Lockie Ferguson.
This is an important game for both the franchises as the winning team will be taking a step forward towards the playoffs. As for the points table, the Bangalore outfit is proudly placed at third position with 6 victories in nine fixtures and 12 points while KKR is languishing at fourth place with 5 wins in nine games and 10 points.
Before the match commenced, as the teams were preparing at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, a video went viral on social media featuring RCB skipper Virat Kohli. With RCB’s good run in the 2020 edition of the T20 extravaganza, the captain Kohli has been quite relaxed and is thoroughly enjoying the tournament thus far. In the viral clip, Virat can be seen hilariously imitating the batting action of his competitor in both IPL and international circuit, Australia’s great Steve Smith.

History between Virat Kohli and Steven Smith
Once upon a time, the Indian captain Kohli and the former Australian captain Smith were at loggerheads with each other. Both had a history of their own on the match field as both are aggressive and hot-headed. There have been many instances where these two greatest batsmen of the modern era had exchanged a few not-so decent words with each other.
However, this equation took a complete U-turn during the ICC World Cup 2019. In the game between India and Australia, some spectators were trying to troll Smith for his ball-tampering while he was fielding at the boundary. The Indian captain didn’t like this attitude of the crowd and egged the people to appreciate the Australian player instead of booing him. Virat had also won the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ‘Spirit of Cricket Award’ for his sweet gesture.
