Virat Kohli is undoubtedly regarded as one of the fittest cricketers in international cricket. From breaking into the national side as a chubby and impulsive youngster to becoming one of the agile world-class cricketers– Kohli’s journey in international cricket is truly remarkable.

31-year-old Kohli has not looked back after bracing his fitness journey and his on-field athleticism has notched up his game even further. Known for his lean physique, it’s almost impossible to see a worn-out Kohli on the field. Even during the absence of cricket in recent times, the Indian skipper has been keeping himself fit while being at home.

Had the IPL 2020 commenced as per schedule, Kohli would’ve led Royal Challengers Bangalore with an aim to lift their maiden title. However, the tournament was postponed indefinitely in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Amid these trying times, Kohli has been making no compromises about his fitness. The prolific batsman has shared many clips of his home workouts amid the pandemic.

Hey Hardik Pandya, loved your fly push-ups: Virat Kohli

Kohli, on Thursday, shared another clip while sweating out at home. He attempted Hardik Pandya’s fly push-ups and nailed it with total ease. Kohli shared the video on Instagram and added a twist– ‘a clap’– to his push-ups. “Hey H @hardikpandya93 loved your fly push-ups. Here’s adding a little clap to it,” captioned Kohli while flaunting the exercise.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya had recently posted a video on Twitter, doing fly pushups at his gym. He had even challenged his brother Krunal to pull it off. The drill caught Kohli’s attention and the Indian skipper didn’t hold back in flaunting his strength and fitness.

“Stronger. Fitter. Still, under construction @krunalpandya24, I challenge you bhai! Let”s see how many you can do,” Hardik had captioned his video.

Kohli was last seen in action during India’s tour of New Zealand. The series was rather a forgetful one for the Men in Blue as they suffered a whitewash in ODIs and Tests. The Indian team was also set to lock horns with South Africa in an ODI series in March, with the first encounter being at Dharamsala. However, after the first ODI was abandoned due to rain, the subsequent two matches were eventually called off in the wake of COVID-19.
