Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, has recently come back from a break and is currently playing the three-match T20I series against Australia. He took the captaincy role from Rohit Sharma, who led the team to a 3-0 whitewash in the T20I series against the Windies. After reaching Down Under, he has got fully involved with the team in order to start their campaign on an auspicious note.
The Men in Blue played opening T20I against the Aussies at The Gabba in Brisbane. India won the toss and elected to field first and the decision didn’t spring a surprise for the reason that the visiting team has a power-packed batting lineup. In the meantime, Kohli also did his bit for the supporters. Apart from the home fans, a lot of Indians were also present at the renowned venue.
The Indian contingent in the crowd would’ve wished to get a glimpse of Virat and for their hero to sign autographs for them. The 30-year-old went up to the fans and obliged to their requests. A few kids present there already screamed in joy after seeing Virat nearing them. Some even went on to take selfies with him when he was giving away the autographs.

This isn’t the first time, Kohli has won the hearts of the supporters with his gesture. During the five-match Test series against England, he went up to a supporter, who was eagerly waiting for the Indian cricketers to give up an autograph. While the others ignored her, Kohli didn’t let her down.
He was subsequently showered with praises from every nook and corner of the country. For the time, the Delhi-born cricketer would be hoping for India to shed the disappointment of their overseas tours this year of England and South Africa, and put their best foot forward in Australia.
